Senior Project Officer Risk & Compliance Clerk Grade 9/10 Location – Parramatta Hybrid 50% Employment type – Ongoing – Full Time Salary – Clerk Grade 9/10 $129,464 - $142,665 pa plus superannuation & annual leave loading Your role The Senior Project Officer – Risk and Compliance supports and coordinates the implementation of risk management, compliance and resilience initiatives across Homes NSW. The role contributes to strengthening governance, improving organisational risk maturity, and supporting informed decision‑making at enterprise, business unit and key initiative levels, in alignment with Departmental frameworks and NSW Government policy and regulatory requirements. What you’ll do As part of this role, you will support the delivery of risk, compliance and resilience activities across Homes NSW to strengthen governance, assurance and organisational capability. Coordinate the implementation of enterprise and divisional risk and compliance initiatives, including annual compliance activities and internal audit programs, and monitor progress against agreed actions. Provide risk and compliance advice to support the identification, assessment and management of risks impacting organisational objectives across operational and project environments. Analyse and report on risks, issues, controls and inter‑dependencies to support improved governance, assurance and organisational risk maturity. Support the ongoing operation, testing and continuous improvement of business resilience, incident management and business continuity frameworks. Support fraud and corruption prevention activities, including monitoring mitigation strategies, assurance actions and control effectiveness in line with policy and regulatory expectations. Contribute to the development, review and embedding of risk, compliance and resilience frameworks, policies, guidance and tools. Prepare high‑quality briefs, reports, dashboards and governance papers to inform senior leadership and oversight forums. Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to support consistent, practical and well‑governed risk and compliance outcomes. What we’re looking for Demonstrated experience supporting the implementation of risk management, compliance and governance frameworks within a large, complex or public sector organisation. Sound knowledge of enterprise and operational risk management, compliance obligations, internal audit, business continuity and resilience practices. Demonstrated experience providing risk and compliance advice across enterprise, business unit and project contexts to support informed decision‑making. Experience in monitoring, analysing and reporting on risk, compliance and assurance activities, including tracking and reporting on audit and review actions. Strong analytical and communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing high‑quality reports, briefings and governance materials for senior stakeholders. Download the role description.
