The role We're looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Plumber to join our team on Perth Metro commercial construction sites. You'll be working on live builds alongside our crew, mentoring apprentices, and representing WLP's standards on site every day. Day-to-day you'll be: Carrying out commercial plumbing and (where licensed) gas work across metro sites Ground drainage installation, including working with AHD levels Operating a machine excavator on site as required Reading and interpreting construction plans Working both independently and as part of a crew Mentoring apprentices — leading by example and doing things properly the first time Liaising professionally with builders, supervisors, and clients Maintaining WLP's high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping What you'll bring Valid WA Plumbing Tradesperson's Ticket (essential) WA White Card (essential) WA Manual Driver's License (essential) Machine excavator experience (essential) Excavator ticket / Verification of Competency for Plant (VOCP) (essential) Ground drainage experience, including AHD levels (essential) Minimum 3 years post-trade commercial experience (preferred) Gasfitter Ticket (preferred, not essential) Strong communication, reliability, and attention to detail Willingness to mentor apprentices and uphold site standards Own essential hand tools Solid references from commercial construction employers Legal right to work in Australia Bonus if you have: HR Truck License and/or EWP Gasfitter Ticket What's on offer $110,000–$140,000 salary (based on experience), plus superannuation 50-hour working week , with overtime paid for hours above 50 Company vehicle Phone provided or bill paid Uniform and boots supplied Annual performance bonus Consistent Perth Metro work — no FIFO, no long drives to site Real career progression (Leading Hand / Site Supervisor pathways) Training and upskilling aligned to commercial construction standards A stable, supportive team culture where your work is valued How to apply Email your résumé to wlpwa.com.au with the subject line: Senior Commercial Plumber – Your Name Please include: Tickets and licenses held Years post-apprenticeship Availability to start Two professional referees We'll be in touch within 5 business days of receiving your application.
