A leading national business within the food and distribution sector is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a highly commercial role partnering closely with Buying, Replenishment and Operational teams, with a strong focus on profitability, supplier performance, promotions analysis and strategic decision support. Working within a fast-paced and evolving environment, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, improving processes and influencing commercial outcomes across the business. Key Responsibilities Partner with Buying and Operational teams to provide commercial insights and financial guidance Lead forecasting, budgeting and reporting across supplier rebates and income streams Develop and analyse fully costed P&Ls by supplier and product category Drive promotional effectiveness reporting and support data-led commercial decisions Identify margin improvement, cost-saving and stock optimisation opportunities Support business cases, transformation initiatives and strategic projects Deliver accurate financial reporting, forecasting and performance analysis to senior stakeholders Contribute to ongoing process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives About You CA/CPA qualified with strong commercial finance capability Proven experience in finance business partnering within retail, FMCG, food, merchandise or commercial operations Strong analytical and financial modelling skills Advanced Excel capability with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights Confident stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the business Experience operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing organisation during an exciting period of transformation and change.
