Position : Tiler Employer : ARIA TILING SERVICES PTY LTD ABN / ACN : & Address : JOONDALUP WA 6027 Salary : $70,000 - $85,000 (plus superannuation) Hours per week : 38 hours Category : Full Time / Permanent Days/Timings : Monday to Friday - Office Hours DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS: Aria Tiling is located at JOONDALUP WA 6027 and we need urgently a Tiler to perform the following duties DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Laying porcelain and ceramic tiles on walls and floors in both indoor and outdoor contexts, for both commercial buildings and residential dwellings. 2.Cutting tiles into required shapes and dimensions around fitting as required by clients 3.Examining surfaces prior to spreading adhesives. 4.Grouting and cleaning surfaces and tiles to ensure they are aesthetically presentable Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work Using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes Grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout 8.Applying waterproofing systems onto prepared surfaces and tiles 9.Preparing, aligning, setting coloured tiles to create patterned mosaics 10.Ability to work to builders’ drawings and specifications and determine materials required 11.Responsible for tile installation and ensuring correct fit and alignment. 12.Working to strict safety guidelines Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience: Education : Certificate III or Certificate IV or Diploma Australian Experience : At least 3 years of Australian Experience OR Overseas Experience : At least 3 years of Overseas Experience Specialist : Tiling Work Rights : Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents will be preferred.
