About the role Combo Industries is seeking a talented Automotive Painter to join our dynamic team in Wingfield, South Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting services to maintain the standards of our clients' truck bodies and equipment. What you'll be doing Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking and priming Mixing and applying paint to vehicles using specialised equipment and techniques Ensuring a flawless finish by carefully inspecting and touching up painted areas Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to support efficient operations Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations What we're looking for Several years of experience as an Automotive Painter, preferably in a commercial or workshop setting Proven expertise in using a range of painting equipment and techniques Proficiency with paint booth systems is essential for this role Demonstrated expertise in all painting techniques including base coat/clear coat, single stage painting, touch-up work, and colour matching Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation A keen interest in the transport industry and a passion for your craft Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position What we offer At Combo Industries, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
