About the role As an Experienced Qualified Outside School Hours Care Educator at Little Learners Place OSHC, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and educational experiences for children outside of school hours. This part-time position is based in Armadale/Bedfordale area and offers the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to supporting the development and wellbeing of local children. Hours of Work BSC 6.30 - 8.45am ASC 2.45 - 6.00pm VAC various shifts between 6.30 am & 6.00pm Split shift allowance paid. We have been approved for the 10% workers retention grant. What you'll be doing Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities and programs for children in an outside school hours care setting Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children in your care Develop strong relationships with children, families, and the broader school community Maintain accurate records and documentation as per regulatory requirements Actively participate in professional development and team meetings to continuously improve service delivery Collaborate with colleagues to implement high-quality childcare practices What we're looking for Relevant ACECQA approved qualification in Early Childhood Education Minimum 6 months experience working as a qualified educator in an outside school hours care or similar setting Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate programs for children Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place Framework and regulatory requirements for the sector Willingness to undertake a Responsible Persons role as required.
