Professional development allowance of $21,500 p.a. 3.6 weeks p.a. leave Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available About your opportunity: The purpose of the Staff Specialist Paediatrics is to provide leadership in Child Protection Services for the Townsville University Hospital (TUH) and the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. This will include providing leadership in child protection services within a team of general and subspecialist paediatricians, and working closely with the child protection unit to support a TUH response to incidents and issues that arise. This role attends SCAN (Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect) meetings as a core representative of Queensland Health and participate in the on-call roster for child protection services. Requirements: Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable). Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians with General Paediatrics. Applicants must be awarded Scope of Clinical Practice (SoCP) by the Townsville HHS Credentialing and SoCP committee. This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Probation period may apply.
