Project Manager – Port Capital Projects ResourcePro is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Project Managers to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of capital projects at a major port facility for a Tier 1 resources company. About the Role This opportunity will suit a capable project professional with experience delivering projects in mining, heavy industry, ports, infrastructure, or similar operational environments. The role forms part of a strong pipeline of capital works supporting the ongoing development, reliability, and performance of the operation. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of capital projects in line with client, company, safety, commercial, and contractual requirements Define project scopes, develop execution plans, manage budgets, and monitor schedule performance across multiple projects Maintain strong safety leadership and promote a zero-harm culture across all project activities Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders Oversee construction planning, scheduling, procurement, contractor engagement, and site execution activities Support commercial, tendering, procurement, and contract management processes Manage project risks, issues, variations, reporting, and governance requirements Contribute to a high-performance project delivery culture through collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement About You Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Structural, or a Diploma/qualification in Project Management Demonstrated experience delivering capital projects within mining, resources, ports, infrastructure, or heavy industry environments Strong understanding of project delivery, construction management, safety, quality, cost, and schedule control Commercially astute, with experience supporting tenders, procurement, contract management, and cost reporting Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills Well organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in an operating site environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong commitment to safety, governance, professional integrity, and successful project outcomes What’s in it for You Opportunity to work with a Tier 1 resources company Exposure to a diverse and ongoing portfolio of port-based capital projects Competitive remuneration package Flexible work arrangements, with potential work-from-home options Opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure within a complex operational environment Why ResourcePro?
