Trinity Lutheran College is seeking a capable and proactive Compliance & Policy Coordinator to lead and enhance the College’s compliance, governance and policy frameworks across our P-12 environment. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Operations, this role plays a key part in ensuring the College meets its legislative and regulatory obligations through practical, consistent and people-focused compliance practices. This is an opportunity to genuinely influence how compliance and policy are understood and embedded across the College, moving beyond “red tape” and creating frameworks that are accessible, effective and meaningful in practice. Position Description and Application Criteria As the Compliance & Policy Coordinator, you will lead and support a range of strategic and operational responsibilities, including: Lead the management and continuous improvement of the College’s compliance systems and frameworks, including Complispace and ERM Research, interpret and apply legislative and regulatory requirements to operational College practices Develop, review and implement College-wide policies and procedures that are practical, accessible and aligned to best practice Coordinate governance and compliance reporting, including preparation of reports, insights and recommendations for leadership and committees Drive consistency across compliance processes, templates, registers and operational documentation Coordinate key WHS and compliance activities including lockdowns, evacuations, drills and safety compliance requirements Support leaders with compliance advice, guidance and practical solutions that balance operational needs with regulatory obligations This role requires excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail, critical thinking and the ability to translate complex compliance requirements into practical and user-friendly solutions. We are looking for someone who can combine professionalism and sound judgement with a collaborative and approachable style, who understands that effective compliance is not about unnecessary bureaucracy, but about creating safe, clear and sustainable practices that genuinely support people.
