Undertaking a contemporary response to the provision of holistic therapeutic interventions, you will support clients in assessing and overcoming the barriers that have contributed to their need for crisis accommodation. A key objective of this position is to support clients in obtaining stable accommodation through ongoing assessment, counselling, education/training and holistic case management. As Client Services Team Leader, you will also embed a client-focused culture and empower direct reports to undertake skilled case management that focuses on the achievement of client goals and outcomes. Operating within the program Service Agreement, you may be required to perform shift work including afternoon, night and weekend work if applicable to your program. This is a Permanent, Full-time position (38 hours per week) role based in Spring Hill. This position works on a rotating roster including weekends, availability to work weekends is essential. To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria: Tertiary Qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Registered Nursing, Behavioral Science or equivalent Minimum 3 years’ experience providing holistic therapeutic interventional and intensive case management within the homelessness sector Previous experience as a Team Leader or equivalent, providing mentorship and guidance to direct reports Knowledge of and ability to work within relevant legislation and guidelines relating to the delivery of specialist homelessness services Effective communication and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentially on information at all times Demonstrate genuine respect for all people regardless of their situation Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society COVID-19 vaccination status is recommended for this role but not a mandatory requirement.
