Hi there! We’re Five Good Friends. We’re an approved aged care and NDIS service provider helping our Members (others call them clients) live vibrantly in their own homes. We wrap a care team around them and their families, supported by innovative software that coordinates in the background—so our teams can focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care. We’re proud to be a place where purpose meets impact. Every day, our work contributes to helping people live their best lives, and that starts with our people. As more people choose Five Good Friends, we’re building out our Platform team to strengthen the foundations that power our technology and services. That’s where you come in. About the Role We’re looking for an AI System Analyst to help us understand, define, and shape how our platform and operations work end-to-end. This role sits at the intersection of business, systems, and engineering. You’ll work across processes, SaaS platforms, integrations, and data turning real-world operational complexity into clear, structured knowledge that supports both delivery teams and AI-assisted ways of working. You won’t be working in isolation or producing static documentation. Instead, you’ll be embedded in the work, partnering closely with engineers, product, and operational teams to uncover how things work, identify gaps, and bring clarity to ambiguity. You’ll be part of a hands-on, genuinely collaborative team of engineers, system thinkers and innovators. Think getting around a whiteboard together, unpacking problems, challenging ideas, and designing solutions as a group. The work is substantive; the problems are challenging; and expectations on the whole Platform team to continue delivering are high. This is a hybrid role, balancing in-office collaboration with focused work from home. When you’re in, you’ll be based in our modern South Bank office, close to great cafes and restaurants, with easy access to public transport. What You’ll Be Doing Investigating and documenting business processes, workflows, and system behaviours Tracing how workflows across SaaS platforms, integrations, APIs, and automations Defining business rules, operational terminology, and data definitions Creating structured, usable knowledge that supports engineering delivery and AI-enabled workflows Identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and dependencies across systems and processes Collaborating with engineers, product, and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding before delivery Supporting more consistent, scalable ways of working across the platform About You You’re naturally curious and think in systems, you want to understand how things actually work, not just how they’re supposed to. You’re comfortable navigating complexity, asking the right questions, and bringing structure to ambiguity. You enjoy working closely with both technical and non-technical people, and you’re confident moving between operational conversations and technical detail. You’ll bring: Strong systems thinking and analytical capability Experience working across complex operational or SaaS-heavy environments The ability to translate real-world processes into clear, structured documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and clarity You’re also energised by AI and actively using AI-assisted tools or working with AI/ML concepts, and excited by how data platforms enable intelligent systems. Bonus points for experience with APIs, integrations, automation tools, data or process mapping, or working alongside engineering teams. What’s in It for You You’ll help shape how our platform and the knowledge behind it supports better care and stronger outcomes for our members. Your work will enable faster, clearer, and more confident delivery across the organisation, while contributing to how we embed AI into the way we work. And a few more things we think you’ll value: Competitive salary package that recognises your skills and experience Flexible hybrid work arrangements to support focus and collaboration Annual $500 health and wellbeing allowance Additional annual leave accrual after your second year and the option to purchase extra leave Free confidential counselling through Sonder Parental leave top-ups for eligible caregivers, including superannuation support Extend our care to a loved one at a special rate A workplace with an employee engagement score 17% above industry average And after 5 years of continuous service—a trip to Okinawa, Japan, the community that inspired Five Good Friends How to Apply If this role sounds like you, click the apply button and follow the prompts.
