Adelaide’s Finest Supermarkets Pasadena is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Second-in-Charge (2IC) to join our dynamic team! As the Customer Service 2IC, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Customer Service Manager and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department. You’ll help lead, motivate, and develop the customer service team while creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience for our customers. About the Role As the Customer Service 2IC, you will be an important part of our front-end leadership team, helping to create a positive shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors. Working closely with the Customer Service Manager, you’ll assist in overseeing the daily operations of the department while supporting and motivating the customer service team to perform at their best. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, thrives on teamwork, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll be given the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills, gain valuable retail experience, and contribute to a supportive and collaborative workplace culture. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising front-end operations, assisting with staff training and development, managing customer enquiries and escalations, and ensuring high presentation and safety standards are maintained throughout the department. You’ll also help coordinate team workflows, support rostering and shift coverage where required, and lead by example through professionalism, initiative, and a strong customer-first attitude.
