We’re seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join our Rockhampton workshop team. In this role, you’ll carry out tyre fitting, inspections, and general workshop duties, helping to keep our transport fleet safe and roadworthy. This position operates Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for overtime. What You’ll Be Doing Fit, repair, rotate, and replace tyres on trucks, trailers, and light vehicles Carry out tyre inspections to identify wear, damage, and safety concerns Report tyre defects and safety issues promptly Assist mechanics with general workshop maintenance and repairs when required Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-compliant workshop environment Work as part of a fast-paced transport maintenance team What You’ll Bring Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Tyre Fitter (heavy vehicle experience preferred) Experience working with trucks, trailers, or light/heavy fleet vehicles Strong attention to detail with a strong focus on safety compliance Ability to work well in a team environment Willingness to assist across general workshop duties when required Positive, flexible attitude and strong work ethic Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards What’s in it for you?
