About Our Client Our Client is a renewable energy business operating across Australia’s solar, battery storage and clean energy market. The business supports customers with battery storage, hybrid inverter and solar energy solutions across residential, commercial and industrial applications. The Sales Manager - Residential and C&I BESS will be responsible for driving sales growth across battery energy storage solutions, with a focus on installer channels, distribution partners and commercial customers. This role will suit a commercially driven sales professional with experience in solar, battery storage, electrical products or renewable energy markets. Your Responsibilities Sales Growth: Drive sales and business development across residential and C&I battery energy storage solutions. Channel Development: Develop installer, distributor, partner and key account channels to support repeat business and long-term revenue growth. Customer Development: Identify new business opportunities, follow up leads and convert sales opportunities across solar, battery storage and hybrid inverter solutions. Commercial Projects: Support commercial and industrial energy storage opportunities through client development, project discussions and stakeholder engagement. Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, customer activity, opportunities and follow-up actions through CRM or sales systems. Internal Coordination: Work closely with sales, technical, operations and delivery teams to ensure customer requirements and project outcomes are followed through effectively. Skills and Experience Sales Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, account management or channel sales. Renewable Energy Background: Experience in solar, battery storage, electrical products, renewable energy, technical products or wholesale distribution will be highly regarded. BESS Knowledge: Understanding of battery energy storage systems, solar PV systems, hybrid inverters or related clean energy technologies. Installer / Channel Exposure: Experience working with solar installers, electricians, electrical contractors, distributors, partners or trade customers is advantageous. Commercial Capability: Confidence in customer conversations, pricing discussions, lead follow-up, negotiation and sales conversion. Communication: Professional communication skills with the ability to explain technical product value clearly and build rapport with customers.
