The Role This 2-year fixed term Compliance Officer (AML) role offers a great opportunity to support an exciting business project while building strong, practical experience in AML and financial crime. Working as part of Pepper Money’s Compliance team, you’ll contribute to day-to-day AML activities and provide hands-on support as the business continues to evolve and adapt through change. In this role, you will: Complete daily AML and financial crime activities, including transaction monitoring and watchlist reviews. Investigate and support the management of AML, sanctions, PEP and financial crime escalations. Assist with customer due diligence, ongoing monitoring and regulatory reporting. Support compliance monitoring activities, audits and project-related work. Provide clear, practical compliance support to stakeholders across the business. About you You’re an early to mid-career compliance professional who enjoys detail-driven work and being part of a collaborative team. You’re comfortable working within established frameworks, keen to learn, and motivated by contributing to meaningful outcomes in a changing environment. You’ll bring: Experience in AML, compliance or financial crime within financial services or a regulated environment. A working understanding of AML/CTF obligations and regulatory requirements. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage routine tasks alongside project work. Clear written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
