We are partnering with a leading ASX-200 listed organisation to appoint a HCM Functional Analyst – HR & Payroll to support a major SAP transformation program focused on SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP S/4HANA Payroll . Location: North Sydney Hybrid: 3 days/week in office and 2 days WFH Day Rate: $1000-1200 incl. super Contract Duration: 12 months with strong chance of extension This is a critical role supporting the migration of HR and Payroll data from SAP ECC6 into SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP S/4HANA Payroll, ensuring data integrity, successful testing outcomes, and smooth operational readiness ahead of go-live. The Opportunity You will work closely with the systems integrator, project leadership, and business stakeholders to support data migration, payroll parallel runs, testing activities, and post-go-live readiness across a complex enterprise environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring payroll accuracy, validating HR processes, resolving discrepancies, and supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale HR and Payroll transformation. Key Responsibilities Support HR and Payroll data migration activities from SAP ECC6 to SuccessFactors EC and S/4HANA Payroll Define data mapping and transformation rules across HR and Payroll objects Complete pre- and post-validation activities and support data cleansing initiatives Support payroll parallel run testing, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution Assist with SIT and UAT preparation, execution, and defect management Validate integrations between payroll, time management, and related systems Collaborate with stakeholders to improve and streamline HR and Payroll processes Support cutover, go-live, and Hypercare activities to ensure business continuity Provide functional input into ETL specifications, reporting, and testing documentation About You 5 years’ experience in a Functional Analyst, Specialist, Consultant, or Business Analyst role across SAP HCM ECC, SuccessFactors Employee Central, and Payroll (EC/ECP) Experience working on an SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA transformation is a plus Strong understanding of Australian and NZ payroll processes and regulations Experience supporting HR and Payroll data migration and transformation activities Strong knowledge of payroll testing, reconciliation, and parallel run cycles Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in complex enterprise environments Experience working on large-scale SAP transformation programs preferred Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Payroll, BTP, or hybrid migration approaches highly regarded Why Apply?
