About the role We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Business Advisory team. You will be responsible for: Managing a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple Partners within a highly collaborative environment Overseeing all compliance and advisory work for your portfolio, including tax-effect accounting, annual accounts, tax returns, BAS, and regular advisory work Providing commercial, proactive advice through regular client communication — emails, calls, meetings and ongoing problem‑solving Building strong relationships with clients, including those with international parent entities Leading and mentoring team members, supporting the other managers and reviewing compliance work from more junior staff members Assisting with people leadership across a team of 10 (including offshore staff), helping to create more capacity for senior leaders to focus on BD and strategic initiatives Working closely with Partners to improve processes, deliver high‑quality outcomes and identify opportunities to broaden client services Upholding the firm’s SOQM, Code of Conduct and high professional standards To thrive in this role, you will have: Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or similar Completed CA or CPA qualification 5 years’ public practice experience, ideally in a mid‑tier or large firm Strong communication skills — written and verbal — to support a client base that requires clear, confident communication Experience managing your own workload and supervising/reviewing staff Exposure to tax‑effect accounting and advisory work is preferred A strong ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders A collaborative, team‑oriented approach with a leadership style built on trust, autonomy and respect Benefits: Training and development – structured training, CPD support, and leadership pathways Career progression - clear pathways from Supervisor to Manager to Senior Manager to Partner Birthday Leave and Community Leave Extremely values-driven corporate culture and activities program Flexible hybrid working arrangements - work from home available!
