The Report Delivery Officer is responsible for providing high-level report delivery administration services for referrers and patients, ensuring the accurate transcription, prioritisation, and timely distribution of medical imaging reports. About The Role As a Report Delivery Officer, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for supporting radiologist workflow efficiency and maintaining strong report turnaround times. Working within our centralised Report Delivery Team, you will manage radiologist reporting worklists, coordinate case priorities, troubleshoot report delivery issues, and communicate with radiologists, referrers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery. This role is based at our South Bank office and requires participation in a staggered roster system, including after-hours and weekend shifts as required. In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For Managing radiologist reporting worklists and ensuring urgent cases are prioritised appropriately Monitoring report progress to support timely completion and delivery Assisting all staff with reporting system queries Troubleshooting report delivery issues to avoid delays in patient care Transcribing patient reports with a high level of accuracy and efficiency Escalating urgent or complex matters to the Team Leader or appropriate stakeholders Communicating effectively with radiologists, referrers, and internal administration teams Supporting the wider Report Delivery Team in achieving turnaround time and service delivery targets Participating in regular meetings, training sessions, and process improvement activities Assisting with additional duties as requested by the Team Leader and management Technical Responsibilities Demonstrating a strong understanding of report delivery workflows and radiologist worklist management Troubleshooting radiologist reporting systems Ensuring reports are delivered within required timeframes to support patient follow-up and continuity of care Accurately applying medical terminology when transcribing and reviewing reports Managing workload effectively to support team efficiency and minimise backlog Identifying and escalating system or process issues that may impact report turnaround times About You Demonstrated administrative or transcription experience, preferably within healthcare Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and timeliness Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage competing priorities Strong time management and problem-solving skills Collaborative and proactive team member Commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and continuous improvement What we offer To be part of a friendly and caring team, who have a genuine passion for staff and patient care Annual Leave loading of 17.5% Paid parental leave benefits Access to the QXR staff benefits/discounts mobile phone app, including private healthcare discounts with leading providers Committed to health and well-being, including access to an Employee Assistance Program and Wellbeing Gateway phone app full of great resources and tools.
