Your opportunity As a Payroll Officer , you will ensure staff are paid correctly and in line with legislative, award and organisational requirements. You will provide responsive internal customer service and maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality in all payroll processes. This is a full-time maximum term contract ending in January 2027. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, detail‑focused environment and takes pride in delivering reliable and professional payroll support. With integrity and care, you will: Process payroll and associated benefits accurately and in accordance with legislation, awards and organisational procedures Maintain and update payroll data, ensuring accuracy across systems and records Administer pay‑related processes including superannuation, leave, allowances, reimbursements and salary packaging Respond to payroll enquiries and provide timely, professional internal customer service Produce payroll reports and respond to requests for payroll information Work collaboratively with managers, staff and internal teams to support payroll accuracy and compliance What you’ll bring You are a detail‑focused payroll professional who values accuracy, confidentiality and service excellence. You enjoy working as part of a team, supporting others and contributing to continuous improvement. You will also bring: Minimum two years’ experience in payroll processing Sound understanding of payroll legislation, awards and procedures High attention to detail with strong data entry and checking skills Experience providing payroll support and responding to payroll enquiries Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with Chris21 and Kronos payroll systems (essential) Why Anglicare?
