THE ROLE Reporting to the local Building Consulting Manager, this is a unique opportunity to build a long-term career as a Building Consultant within a high-performing national team. You will work across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and retail assets, delivering advice to both domestic and international clients. Core services include: Technical due diligence Make good assessments Capital expenditure forecasting Asset and facilities management planning Energy efficiency assessments BEEC ratings Project monitoring Project management You will be involved in acquisition and divestment due diligence for a wide range of clients, from local property investors through to major international funds and sovereign wealth organisations. ABOUT YOU We are seeking an ambitious and detail-driven professional who can confidently align technical advice with client objectives and commercial outcomes. You will bring: Experience in property and construction consulting Working towards (or intention to pursue) RICS APC pathway as a Chartered Building Surveyor (or equivalent) Strong background in commercial property projects Experience undertaking building inspections and condition assessments Ability to coordinate inspection teams and develop clear, commercially focused recommendations and cost advice Strong technical report writing skills Exposure to BEECs and/or Green Star accreditation (advantageous but not essential) Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently A collaborative mindset and ability to contribute effectively within a team environment ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This role involves regular travel as part of a national consulting delivery model to support project requirements and client deadlines.
