Project Manager Role - Fit Out & Refurbishment About the Company Harrison Barratt Group is partnering with a leading, design-led fit-out and refurbishment contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial interiors across Sydney. With a growing pipeline of complex, design-driven projects, our client is looking to appoint a Project Manager to play a pivotal role in securing and setting up successful project delivery. The Opportunity As a Project Manager - Sydney , you'll own the full delivery of complex commercial fit-out and design projects from the first pitch conversation through to client handover and you'll do it in close partnership with our design, commercial, and site teams. This isn't a role where you'll be doing the same thing every day. The variety of sectors, scales, and client types means you'll be constantly learning and the leadership pathway into broader general management is real, not just a line in a job ad. What You'll Do Lead projects end-to-end managing programs, budgets, subcontractors, and approvals from pitch through to final handover Be the face of the project for clients running meetings, managing expectations, and making sure every touchpoint reflects Cachet's standard of care Drive site delivery coordinating with the site team to track progress, quality, safety, and cost performance in real time Handle the commercial side issuing variations, progress claims, and final invoicing with accuracy and speed Mentor and support junior project managers sharing your knowledge and helping build the next generation of the team About You You're a confident, commercially sharp project leader who's done this before and is ready to do it at the next level. You don't need to be told what to do you know how to read a room, manage competing priorities, and keep a project moving even when things get complicated. Experience delivering commercial construction projects in a Project Manager role A background working for a head contractor in Australia Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline Strong financial and contractual management capability Proven ability to lead and develop project teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels A proactive mindset with a focus on safety, quality and client outcomes What We Offer: Enjoy a competitive salary commensurate with your experience and expertise.
