Business Analyst – Privacy, Data Flows & Transparency Uplift Sydney | 6 Month Contract | Hybrid Working We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a high-profile privacy, data flows, and transparency uplift program. This role will focus on analysing business processes, mapping decision flows, identifying automation touchpoints, and supporting regulatory compliance outcomes across a complex enterprise environment. You will work closely with business, privacy, risk, operations, data, AI, and technology stakeholders to drive discovery, documentation, and uplift initiatives. Key Responsibilities Map current-state business processes, decision journeys, and automated decisioning touchpoints Identify personal information used in decision flows, data sources, levels of automation, and exceptions Conduct gap analysis across transparency, disclosure, governance, and control requirements Support development of customer-facing disclosures, internal controls, and audit-ready artefacts Facilitate workshops and collaborate with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders Translate findings into clear business requirements, inventories, and remediation recommendations Assist with defining governance processes, assessment criteria, and future-state controls Manage priorities, risks, and out-of-scope items for future program phases About You Proven Business Analyst experience across regulatory uplift, remediation, or governance programs Strong process mapping, business analysis, and documentation skills Experience working with privacy, compliance, risk, or operational stakeholders Ability to navigate ambiguity and work autonomously in fast-paced environments Strong critical thinking and analytical capability Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills Previous experience within insurance or financial services highly regarded Desirable Exposure to automated decision making, AI governance, or data flow mapping Experience across underwriting, claims, policy administration, or customer servicing Tertiary qualifications in Business, Technology, or related discipline This is an excellent opportunity to join a meaningful transformation program focused on transparency, governance, and customer outcomes.
