We are currently partnering with a well-established construction group as they expand into the Sydney market, seeking an experienced Estimator to play a key role in their growing operation. Based in the inner-southern suburbs of Sydney, this position will see you involved in the pricing and tendering of complex building and infrastructure projects , often delivered within live, operational, and highly regulated environments . Projects typically range from $1M to $100M , with a core focus on the $8M–$30M range . The Role: Manage end-to-end estimating and tender preparation Price alterations, refurbishments, upgrades, and brownfield works Coordinate subcontractor pricing and supplier engagement Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions Develop methodology-driven pricing aligned with programme and staging requirements Contribute to competitive and high-quality tender submissions About You: Proven experience as an Estimator within construction Background working with a Tier 1 or reputable Tier 2 contractor Experience delivering projects in live environments (e.g. aviation, transport, defence, health) Strong understanding of buildability, subcontractor markets, and risk-based pricing Experience across projects up to $200M Ability to manage technically complex tenders with multiple stakeholders and constraints Why Apply: Join a growing business entering the Sydney market Work on challenging, high-value projects in complex environments Be part of a collaborative, well-supported team Strong long-term career progression as the business expands If you’re ready to step into a key role within a growing Sydney operation and work on complex, high-profile projects, we’d love to hear from you.
