Be where you’re needed. Belong right here. The Role We are seeking a highly organised Maintenance Officer to support our Property team in a fast-paced, administration-focused environment. Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will play a key role in coordinating, scheduling, and tracking maintenance activities to ensure our facilities operate safely and efficiently. This role suits someone with a solid understanding of maintenance environments who excels in administration, coordination, and communication. We are not looking for a technical SME, but someone with field knowledge and high paced administrative capability. This is a fixed term position to cover a period of Maternity Leave until January 2027. Key Responsibilities Create, prioritise, and schedule maintenance work orders using AMPRO Manage preventative maintenance schedules and follow-ups Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders Maintain accurate records, asset history, and compliance documentation Provide administrative support, reporting, and tracking About You Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance planning, facilities, or similar role Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination ability High attention to detail with a focus on record keeping Understanding of WHS requirements and Australian Standards and legislation Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and maintenance systems Desirable Experience with AMPRO or similar systems Experience with billing and invoice processing is highly desirable Why you’ll love working with Anglicare Southern Queensland Voted Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brand in Aged Care seven consecutive years in a row.
