We’re partnering with a well-established consulting organisation to find a hands-on Security Architect to join their growing cybersecurity practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bridging the gap between strategy and delivery. You’ll be working across a range of enterprise and critical infrastructure clients, helping design, uplift, and embed robust security capabilities. The Role As a Security Architect, you will: Lead the design and implementation of security architecture frameworks and solutions Provide end-to-end security guidance across programs, from strategy through to execution Engage with stakeholders across technical teams and executive leadership Support risk, assurance, and vulnerability management initiatives Contribute to security roadmaps aligned with business and regulatory requirements Work across multiple client environments, delivering practical and scalable outcomes What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a well-rounded, hands-on security professional with: 10 years’ experience across security architecture, engineering, and strategy Strong background in enterprise environments or critical infrastructure Proven experience in security assurance, risk management, and vulnerability management Ability to operate at both technical and leadership levels Experience working within consulting or multi-industry environments (e.g. financial services, telco, utilities, government) A pragmatic, business-aligned approach to security Key Requirements Australian Citizenship (essential) Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders Demonstrated experience delivering outcomes in complex, large-scale environments If you are interested please apply or send your updated resume to lainey.macdonald@halcyonknights.com.au SCR-lainey-macdonald-1
