About the role The Solutions Architect is a senior, hands-on technology leader within the Product Delivery Group (PDG), responsible for driving the modernisation and evolution of Quartex’s multi-product portfolio. This role plays a critical part in consolidating overlapping product capabilities, modernising legacy systems, and defining a clear, aligned target architecture across the organisation. Working closely with the Head of Architecture, the broader architecture team (including two other architects), Head of Engineering, Product Managers, and Design, the Solutions Architect ensures that architectural decisions are practical, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes. The role combines strategic thinking with deep technical execution, with a strong focus on accelerating delivery through modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development. As our newest Solutions Architect , you’ll: Assess the current state of systems across a diverse product portfolio and define a clear, actionable target architecture Lead the development and alignment of a modernisation and product consolidation roadmap Establish and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and architecture decisions Drive alignment across engineering, product, and design stakeholders on architecture direction Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate delivery and improve engineering productivity Contribute to SOC2 Type II compliance through secure and well-governed architectural practices Support engineering teams in adopting modern development practices, tooling, and architectural approaches What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who is Strong communicator, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders Pragmatic and outcome-focused, balancing ideal architecture with real-world constraints Collaborative approach with the ability to influence and align teams Curious and continuously learning, particularly in emerging areas such as AI-assisted development Contributes to a positive, engaging team culture and participates in team activities You’ll also bring: Experience in AWS C# .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET WebForms & MVC, SQL Server, MongoDB Java, Node, Angular & MySQL Multi-tenant Architecture Authentication (SAML/OIDC, OAuth2.0) Authorization (RBAC, ABAC, complex custom policies) Why You’ll Love Working Here At Quartex, we know even minor issues can lead to major problems in the industries we serve.
