We’re looking for a Senior Support / Cloud Engineer to join a growing team supporting modern cloud-based platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining system reliability, resolving complex issues, and continuously improving cloud environments. The role You will be responsible for supporting cloud-hosted and desktop solutions across virtual machines and containerised environments. Working closely with engineering teams, you will troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and ensure systems remain secure, stable, and highly available. K ey responsibilities Provide operational support across cloud and desktop environments Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues Maintain system uptime, performance, and reliability Implement and enhance monitoring and alerting tools Work with engineering teams to identify root causes and prevent recurring issues Contribute to incident response, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement Ensure systems meet security and compliance requirements Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps Support and mentor junior team members Participate in an on-call rotation Skills and experience Proven experience in a senior support or cloud engineering role Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Azure (AWS also beneficial) Experience working with virtual machines and containerised environments such as Kubernetes Strong troubleshooting capability across infrastructure and applications Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor Experience working in Agile environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused Nice to have Experience with C# or software development environments Exposure to relational or non-relational databases Experience working within security or compliance frameworks Security clearance Applicants must be Australian Citizens and either hold or be eligible to obtain NV1 Security Clearance What’s on offer Opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies Collaborative and high-performing team environment Exposure to complex and meaningful systems Strong opportunities for career growth and development
