There is an immediate need for an experienced and proactive Architect or Design Manager to join this team, working closely with our construction and delivery teams on multiple projects, with a strong focus on aviation. This role is ideal for someone who understands the complexities of airport environments and can confidently navigate stakeholder expectations, technical design requirements, and project delivery systems. Lead and coordinate the design process across multiple projects, with a focus on airport developments Manage and review design documentation, ensuring alignment with project scope, timelines, and compliance requirements Liaise with Airport Authority stakeholders and Project Managers, demonstrating a strong understanding of their project management systems, approval processes, and governance frameworks Oversee and coordinate external consultant teams, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables Undertake design reviews, revisions, and coordination using tools such as Revizto and/or Navisworks Work hands-on in Revit, including navigating models, producing detailed drawings, and supporting planning and layout development Drive value engineering initiatives to optimise cost, efficiency, and constructability without compromising quality Manage design documentation workflows and communications using Aconex Identify and mitigate design risks throughout the project lifecycle Key Requirements Proven experience as a Design Manager or similar role within infrastructure or construction projects Demonstrated experience working on airport projects or within aviation environments Strong understanding of Airport Authority systems, processes, and stakeholder management Proficiency in Revit , including detailing, planning, and layout development Experience using Revizto and/or Navisworks for coordination and review Solid experience in value engineering and design optimisation Proven ability to manage and coordinate external consultant teams Working knowledge of Aconex for document control and project communication Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment What is Offered Opportunity to work on high-profile aviation projects Collaborative and supportive team environment Competitive salary and career development opportunities If you bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to design management and are comfortable operating within complex, stakeholder-heavy environments, we’d like to hear from you.
