This is a project driven, relationship focused role where success comes from credibility, follow through, and becoming the trusted person clients rely on. The opportunity You will manage and grow a portfolio of project based relationships across engineers, consultants, contractors, and architects. Projects change, but the clients stay. Your job is to deepen those relationships, convert specifications into sales, and become the go to resource when technical solutions are needed. You will be backed by strong internal design and technical support, a hands on Director who encourages new ideas, and a business that invests properly in its people. This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy , being on the road, and building long term commercial partnerships rather than chasing short term wins. What you will be doing Developing trusted relationships with engineers, consultants, and contractors Promoting lighting solutions across active and upcoming projects Managing project pipelines, quotes, and forecasting Converting specifications into confirmed orders Visiting sites, attending client meetings, and entertaining key stakeholders Working closely with internal design and technical teams Simplifying technical solutions and responding quickly to client needs What we are looking for Experience in lighting or technical product sales is highly regarded Existing contacts within the Australian lighting industry Strong project based B2B sales experience A relationship builder who values trust and long term loyalty Professional, smart casual, and confident communicator Comfortable dealing with engineers and technical stakeholders Commercial mindset with strong follow through Able to work autonomously and manage multiple projects Some lighting or compliance knowledge is ideal, training is supported What is on offer Base salary plus commission structure Car allowance Long term career growth in a stable, respected organisation Strong technical and design support Flexible , trust based working environment Supportive leadership and strong team culture If you are an experienced project salesperson who wants to represent a product you can be proud of, work with loyal long-term clients, and build a career rather than just hit targets, we would love to speak with you.
