About the Role Based in Wingfield you'll oversee operations, strategic planning, and team development. You will work closely with local councils, businesses, and stakeholders to deliver innovative waste management and resource recovery services that benefit communities and protect our environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the team across South Australia to deliver safe, sustainable and strong operational results. Operations consist of a large, multi-disciplinary environmental services facility. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, councils, government bodies, regulators and commercial clients. Manage safe operations, financial performance, budgets, and resource allocation to execute a high performing state. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards across the state. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence, ensuring KPI’s are met and financial outcomes are maximised. Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with company objectives including conceptualisation and development of resource recovery projects and expansion into new geographic regions. Identify opportunities through sales activity, development projects and tenders to grow the operational businesses and achieve 2030 targets.
