Here’s how you will make a difference in this role… As Head of IT Products & Engineering, you will be accountable for leading MMS’s evolution to a modern, product‑led, engineering‑centric organisation - one that delivers value faster, more safely and at scale. In so doing, you will have three key priorities: AI ‑ Delivered Software Engineering - Elevate software engineering by embedding AI‑assisted development as a default capability across product and platform teams. Maximising Use of Dynamics 365 - Drive materially better ROI from the organisation’s Dynamics 365 investment by reducing fragmentation, duplication and bespoke solutions; and aligning product owners, engineering teams and business leaders around a common platform direction Transforming Ways of Working – Lead the shift from traditional, functionally siloed delivery to modern, product-led ways of working At MMS clear expectations help our people Be the Difference. Your key responsibilities in this role will include: Define and own a coherent product and platform strategy, aligned to enterprise priorities and approved technology roadmaps. Lead platform consolidation, re‑platforming, and decommissioning of legacy systems including the reduction of technical debt and duplication through standardisation and simplification. Lead high‑performing engineering and product teams across application, platform, and integration domains. Lead the adoption of AI‑assisted software engineering capabilities across design, development, testing, deployment, operations and support. Ensure AI tooling is integrated into standard engineering workflows, platforms and developer environments rather than operating as disconnected pilots. Ensure platforms and products meet agreed availability, performance, and recoverability expectations. Proactively manage technology risk and ensure compliance with internal policies and external obligations.
