What are we looking for? The BI Analyst turns data into actionable insights, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards aligned with business needs. They work with stakeholders to develop data models, ensure data quality, and support consistent reporting and KPIs. The role balances BAU and strategic requests, uses Power BI and SQL to deliver solutions, supports users, and drives continuous improvement in analytics and reporting. Design and develop intuitive Power BI reports and dashboards Translate business requirements into technical solutions and data models Build automated reporting solutions and write SQL to support insights Extract, transform, and prepare data from multiple sources Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and prioritise requests Gather feedback and continuously improve reports and dashboards Train and support users to enable effective self-service reporting Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain reporting systems Support data governance, security, and usage monitoring What will you bring? Relevant data qualification (degree in Data, Information Systems, or Computer Science desirable) Strong SQL Server and T-SQL expertise Experience with BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Tableau) 5 years’ experience in data analysis Exposure to modern tools/tech (e.g. Python, Azure, Spark, Fabric, Power Automate desirable) Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset Effective stakeholder management and communication skills Good time management and ability to prioritise work Strong data visualisation capability Familiarity with lakehouse architecture and project methodologies (e.g. Agile) desirable What next?
