To learn more visit: this opportunity Day Rate contract role Initial 12 months Sydney OR Melbourne based candidates We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Lead to support a large‑scale transformation program, translating strategic HCM objectives into high‑quality Workday solutions and driving delivery across the HCM workstream. Key Responsibilities will include: Translate transformation objectives into clear Workday HCM functional requirements, including reporting Elicit, document and validate current and future‑state HCM processes, including end‑to‑end process mapping Produce functional designs and solution options aligned with Workday capabilities and constraints Identify and recommend process improvements across: Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Time Off & Absence, Onboarding, Time Tracking, Payroll Partner with business stakeholders, SMEs, technical teams and implementation vendors to deliver outcomes Support scope management across Jira and Signavio, including in‑scope clarification and change impact assessment Own HCM workstream deliverables, quality assurance and business sign‑off Manage HCM risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID), escalating where required Prioritise and deliver work in line with program timelines and interdependencies Work closely with change and impact teams to assess and manage business impacts of HCM changes. To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: Proven experience in Workday HCM functional delivery within large, complex transformation programs Strong hands‑on knowledge across core and adjacent Workday HCM modules Demonstrated experience producing functional designs, process maps and solution options Confident stakeholder engagement skills, including working with senior leaders, SMEs and vendors Strong delivery mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Experience working with tools such as Jira and Signavio (or similar) The Aware Super difference At Aware Super, we believe that diversity of thought, background and experience creates better outcomes for our people, members and communities.
