Our client is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join a high-performing project controls team, supporting multiple project delivery teams across a diverse portfolio of works. Based in Perth (Central Park), this 12-month contract offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the successful planning and delivery of complex projects. About the Role: Reporting to the Specialist Project Controls, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, while providing planning support across various project phases. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment across project teams. This role requires a proactive and confident communicator who can identify risks early and support informed decision-making. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining master schedules across assigned projects, tracking progress, and delivering accurate and timely reporting. You will support schedule development, change management, risk analysis, and forecasting activities, ensuring all planning processes align with established guidelines and standards. You will also collaborate closely with cost control, contracts, and estimating teams to ensure schedule impacts are clearly understood and communicated. Safety will be a key focus, with accountability for maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring all processes and systems support the wellbeing of yourself and others. What we are looking for: To be successful, you will bring strong experience in project controls and planning, ideally within mining or large-scale infrastructure environments. You will have proven capability using Primavera P6, along with a solid understanding of scheduling methodologies, risk management, and project delivery frameworks. A relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or project management is required, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
