Full Job Description Position: Designer Location: Perth, WA Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 About the Role: We are seeking a creative and technically minded Designer with strong ArchiCAD skills to join a professional design team. This role focuses on bridging the gap between initial concepts and detailed documentation, ensuring that aesthetic visions are both functional and buildable. Key Responsibilities: Develop and refine design concepts using ArchiCAD to produce high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models. Create detailed documentation for planning applications, building permits, and construction sets. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure designs align with project budgets and client briefs. Research and select appropriate materials and finishes to meet design specifications and compliance. Liaise with consultants and engineers to integrate technical requirements into the design model. What You'll Bring: Demonstrated experience in a design or drafting role within the building and construction industry. High-level proficiency in ArchiCAD with the ability to produce accurate and detailed project models. Solid understanding of the BCA, Australian Standards, and relevant residential or commercial codes. Strong visual communication skills and an eye for contemporary design and spatial planning.
