About the role: 6‑month contract | Working Holiday Visa friendly | Melbourne Looking to build your audit career in Australia with a globally connected firm? RSM Melbourne is seeking Senior Auditors and Assistant Managers to join our External Audit team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, with applications welcomed from Working Holiday Visa holders. This is a great opportunity to gain high‑quality client exposure, work alongside experienced leaders, and contribute to complex statutory audits across a diverse client portfolio, all while enjoying Melbourne’s lifestyle and RSM’s supportive culture. As part of our Melbourne External Audit team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality audit engagements, working with clients across a range of industries. Depending on your level, you’ll be involved in planning through to completion, engaging directly with clients and supporting the development of junior team members. Depending on your level, you will: Deliver external audit engagements in line with Australian Auditing Standards Lead or support audit planning, fieldwork, and completion activities Review working papers and coach junior auditors (Senior / AM level) Liaise with clients and senior stakeholders to resolve audit matters efficiently Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on quality and learning About you: You’re a driven External Audit professional with a strong eye for detail, sound technical knowledge, and a collaborative approach. You enjoy working in team environments, managing priorities effectively, and delivering high‑quality audit outcomes.
