This role sits within a well-established profit-for-purpose housing provider and is ideal for an experienced Property Manager who wants to combine strong residential property management skills with meaningful, values-driven work that supports people into safe, quality housing. The opportunity: You will be responsible for end-to-end property and tenancy management, delivering high quality service across a residential portfolio while ensuring all activity aligns with legislation, organisational policies and best-practice procedures. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support sustainable tenancies and positive outcomes for renters, owners and the organisation. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing and managing all communication with renters, owners and key stakeholders Providing information and advice to support tenancy sustainability and positive outcomes Coordinating financial and administrative tasks including reporting, complaints, compliance and quality requirements Maintaining accurate property and tenancy data across all required systems Managing bond processes and loans in line with relevant authorities Ensuring timely and accurate rental collection and structured arrears management Conducting routine, valuation and condition reports, entry and exit inspections, lease and rent reviews Managing and responding to complaints, including preparation and administration for tribunal matters where required Liaising with asset/maintenance teams and contractors for tenanted and vacated property works Providing support to the wider team and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives About you: You’re an experienced Property Manager who cares about more than just numbers – you’re motivated by the idea of providing stable, quality housing and supporting renters to sustain their tenancies. You’re organised, calm under pressure and confident managing a broad mix of tenancy, financial and compliance tasks. You will ideally have: Real Estate Salesperson Registration Certificate (mandatory) Real Estate Licence (desirable) At least 2 years’ experience in a Property Manager or similar role Strong working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and landlord insurance processes Solid arrears, bond and tenancy lifecycle management experience Confidence with property management systems and Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing Current Driver’s Licence and ability to obtain a satisfactory Police Check Why this role?
