About Us Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. About the Role Offered on a flexible ongoing basis, the Building & Services Assistant is responsible for supporting the effective delivery of a range of maintenance, business and general services for the Supreme Court of Victoria. The position contributes to the delivery of a range of support services to judicial officers and court staff, such as mail services, office relocations and other support services. Key accountabilities include: Performing building maintenance and minor infrastructure works. Performing a range of maintenance, general laboring and waste management duties for the Court. Installing and/or relocating equipment and furniture in courtrooms. Assisting with chambers/office relocations, movement of furniture and equipment and event set-ups. Undertaking a range of business and mail functions including the distribution of correspondence, stationery and equipment throughout the Court's buildings. Liaising and work with judicial officers and staff to ensure that facilities, services and equipment are maintained and delivered in accordance with Court requirements. Providing office support in areas such as record management, mail services, office equipment and supplies as requested. Commitment to the promotion of Health and Safety processes and procedures with a view to improving workplace efficiency and productivity.
