About the Role Reporting to the Security Supervisor, you will be part of a team delivering integrated security services across healthcare facilities. This role requires more than presence — it calls for situational awareness, empathy, and proven experience in healthcare security . You will play a key role in ensuring safety while supporting the operational needs of clinical staff and the wellbeing of patients and visitors. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe and secure healthcare environment through proactive patrols and monitoring Respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism, sound judgement, and care Manage access control in line with strict healthcare protocols Deliver a high standard of customer service, recognising the sensitive nature of the environment Accurately document incidents and maintain confidentiality at all times Work in partnership with healthcare staff to support patient care and site operations About You You are a capable and professional Security Officer who brings: Demonstrated experience in healthcare security, hospital settings, or similar environments The ability to operate confidently in high-pressure and sensitive situations Strong communication skills and a calm, respectful approach Proven conflict resolution and de-escalation capability A proactive mindset aligned with continuous improvement and teamwork Mandatory Requirements Current Victorian Security Licence (Certificate II or higher) Current First Aid & CPR certification Full working rights in Australia Why Join Certis?
