A wellestablished, multioffice professional services firm is seeking an experienced Practice Manager Your New Role Reportingto senior leadership, you will take ownership of monthendreporting, cashflow forecasting, and key finance cycles. You will oversee acapable accounts team who manage daytoday processing, allowing you to remain focused onanalysis, accuracy, and forward planning. This isa handson, influential role where your insights will shapeoperational and strategic decisions across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Deliver monthly management reporting packs including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and performance insights Maintain a cashflow forecast, and support annual budgeting and major expenditure planning Lead, coordinate and mentor the accounts team to ensure processing accuracy and timely completion of obligations Oversee BAS, payroll tax (QLD/NSW/VIC), superannuation, payroll and contractor payments Review WIP, disbursements and debtors, ensuring effective billing and recovery processes Support multientity reporting, including propertyrelated entities Manage annual requirements including STP finalisation, payroll tax reconciliation, WorkCover/iCare, ASIC compliance and trust audit coordination Maintain robust checklists, controls and reporting standards within Xero and internal systems What Youll Bring Strong, handson accounting/finance experience (professional services experience highly regarded) Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret numbers, identify issues early and recommend practical solutions Confident communicator able to explain financial insights to nonfinance stakeholders High proficiency in Xero and exceptional attention to detail Proactive, organised and comfortable working with autonomy Why Youll Want This Role Lead a competent accounts team and focus on meaningful financial management Direct access to decision-makers with your recommendations actioned Autonomy across reporting, forecasting and compliance Exposure to multiple entities for added variety Supportive, collaborative culture within a growing organisation What you need to do now If you're interestedin this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to moanna.yates@hays.com.au or phone:Ph: 0404 305 351.
