MuleSoft Developer Location: Keswick, Adelaide, South Australia (Hybrid working arrangement) Engagement Type: 6-month contract opportunity (until end of October) Overview We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer to join a delivery team supporting a government transformation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, enabling efficient and secure data exchange across multiple enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform Build and maintain APIs and integrations across various enterprise systems Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions Develop reusable integration components aligned with API-led connectivity principles Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and defects Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and scalability standards Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications Participate in Agile delivery processes and continuous improvement initiatives Key Skills and Experience Proven experience as a MuleSoft Developer using the Anypoint Platform Strong experience in API design and development (REST and SOAP) Proficiency in DataWeave and data transformation techniques Solid understanding of integration patterns and best practices Experience integrating cloud and on-premise systems Familiarity with JSON, XML, and messaging frameworks Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control tools (e.g. Git) Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Desirable Experience Experience working within government or large enterprise environments Exposure to platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, or Oracle Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth, JWT) Experience supporting digital transformation programs Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused approach Additional Information Hybrid working arrangement with onsite requirements (typically 2–3 days per week in Keswick) Standard full-time working hours Candidates must have valid working rights in Australia To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Bernadette Llanera on 61 (0)8 7422 0617 or email bllanera@paxus.com.au and quote the above job reference number.
