About the role Due to significant growth, a newly created role has arisen for a 4-6 year commercial lawyer to join our client’s in-house legal team. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, the Corporate Lawyer will handle a diverse range of matters spanning commercial contracts, data and privacy, employment, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, risk, governance and M&A. You will also provide some Company Secretarial support. The role includes the opportunity to advise both domestically and internationally on commercial and regulatory matters. You will be comfortable operating out of your comfort zone from time to time and willing to provide flexible, commercially focused advice for an international client base. About you The ideal candidate will be a commercial lawyer with around 4-6 years’ post admission experience obtained from a well-regarded law firm. Any secondment or in-house experience will be viewed favourably but is not essential. Strong drafting skills and sound experience in commercial transactions, commercial contracting and contract negotiation is required for this business facing role. Any exposure to data privacy frameworks will be highly regarded as will technology sector experience.
