About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of complex ICT initiatives within a Federal Government environment. This role will focus on analysing business needs, defining requirements, and supporting the development of fit-for-purpose digital solutions across a range of enterprise projects. You will work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists to translate business problems into structured requirements and contribute to successful project outcomes within an Agile delivery environment. Position : Business Analyst – $800–$1,200/day super Location : ACT (Onsite) Working Arrangement : Onsite (flexibility considered case-by-case) Start Date : 1 July 2026 Duration : 12 months 2 x 12-month extensions Application Window : Closing 24 April 2026 Key Responsibilities Analyse current and future business processes and information flows Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather requirements Develop business scenarios, process maps, and data models Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria Produce high-quality documentation including business cases, specifications, and reports Collaborate with technical teams to define and deliver effective solutions Evaluate solution options and provide strategic recommendations Support delivery of digital and ICT projects within Agile environments Conduct research and analysis aligned with organisational policies and frameworks Contribute to service design artefacts, change management plans, and communication materials Use tools such as Azure DevOps to manage requirements and track delivery progress Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions About You Proven experience as a Business Analyst within complex ICT or digital environments Strong experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement activities Demonstrated ability to develop user stories and acceptance criteria Experience working on Agile projects delivering complex IT systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Experience producing a wide range of business analysis artefacts Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps for backlog and requirements management Exposure to technologies such as Dynamics 365 or Power Platform (desirable) Experience with Office technologies and enterprise systems (desirable) Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams Must be able to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance Must have valid working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen or long-term visa holders only; no sponsorship available) As a mandatory requirement for this contract role required by our client, applicants are kindly asked to complete a compliance check and upload their work rights verification at .
