Project Administrator Australia Job Description Fremantle Ports’ refreshed 2027 Strategic Plan marks an exciting new chapter for one of Australia’s most successful ports. Working within the Kwinana Bulk Terminal (KBT) Redevelopment Project team, this major EPCM project is a rare opportunity with a location in the greater Perth metropolitan area, project stability and longevity, and an ability to have impact in a project set to significantly increase WA marine trade capability. The projected completion date for the project is end 2032. Role Highlights Be the interface between project areas working together to create an impressive infrastructure project. Be a part of the excitement and adrenaline of working through extensive work packages focused to achieve a common goal and complex project. Work with an experienced and supportive Project team who value your input and ideas. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Major Project set-up and assisting with implementation of project framework, policies and procedures. Administrative coordination of Project cost controls, including financial and performance data to support forecasting and reporting cycles. Become the Oracle procurement subject matter expert, responsible for the coordination of purchase orders in collaboration with procurement and accounts teams. Maintains high-level knowledge about corporate systems and support the team in the use of these to drive administrative efficiently and improvements. Support internal and external stakeholder events. Provide document management support through Content Manager and SharePoint. Provide guidance and strategic information to the project team and associated stakeholders in relation to travel, project procedure, systems and tasks. Establish meeting cadence and administrative support including agendas and minutes to ensure the project team keep to schedules. General calendar management and coordination of team meetings and forums Act as a key interface for the Projects team, coordinating activities of all contractors, consultants, service providers for the project, and other internal/external stakeholders. What Makes You a Great Fit Showing sound judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex project environment. Highly communicative, social and ready to be involved with all project areas to ensure alignment and efficiency. You’ll also bring – 5-8 years’ experience in a similar role with a major project (ideally with a project focus for industrial or resources sector). Proven experience providing team co-ordination and administrative support including supporting project teams with cost control, reporting, and commercial administration activities.
