Requirements Fire Technicians | Sprinkler Fitters | Portables Technicians PERMANENT ROLES | BRISBANE | VEHICLE OVERTIME The Opportunity We’re growing our Fire Services team and are looking for experienced Fire Technicians, Sprinkler Fitters and Portables Technicians to join CV Asset Services in Brisbane. You’ll be working across a mix of commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure sites, helping keep people and buildings safe every day. Fire Technician – What You’ll Be Doing Servicing, inspecting, testing and repairing fire detection and emergency warning systems Fault finding, troubleshooting, upgrades, renewals and repairs Working on control and indication equipment Servicing and testing exit and emergency lighting systems Completing works in line with Australian Standards and WHS requirements Sprinkler Fitter – What You’ll Be Doing Inspecting and testing fire sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels and special hazards Maintaining pump systems and ensuring compliance Delivering high-quality technical solutions to clients Communicating clearly with your team and supervisors Working safely and in line with industry standards and company processes Portables Technician – What You’ll Be Doing Installing, servicing and maintaining portable fire equipment including extinguishers, hose reels and hydrants Using hand and power tools to complete installs and servicing Assessing sites and recommending compliant fire protection solutions Ensuring customer premises meet Australian Standards for fire protection What You’ll Bring QBCC licence (role dependent) Current C-class manual driver’s licence Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug & alcohol screening Strong commitment to WHS, compliance and quality workmanship Confident use of tablets, smartphones and basic systems Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team Highly regarded but not essential: EAHL classes 2, 3 & 6 Experience in hazardous areas Experience with Uptick 2 years’ experience in a Portables Technician role What CV Can Offer You Competitive hourly rates regular overtime on-call allowances Fully maintained ute (or vehicle allowance), fuel card & tolls Flexible RDOs Secure, long-term permanent employment Ongoing training and career development Tools, uniform and everything you need to do your job properly Purchased leave program for extra flexibility CV Life Employee Rewards – retail discounts, perks & health cover Salary sacrificing & novated leasing options Supportive team culture, regular social events & an epic Christmas party About CV CV Services Group has been proudly delivering trade services across fire, electrical, plumbing, building and signage since the early 1980s.
