About the Role Join a specialist workshop team focused on the overhaul, repair, and testing of LV/HV rotating equipment. You’ll be working on motors, generators, and transformers , supporting both workshop-based work and optional site-based projects across WA. The business delivers end-to-end asset refurbishment, testing, and commissioning services across critical infrastructure and heavy industry. Key Responsibilities Overhaul, repair, and rebuild electric motors (essential) Strip, assess, fault find, and reassemble rotating equipment Work on HV motors, generators, and associated equipment Assist with transformer overhauls (highly regarded) Conduct testing, inspection, and reporting Support workshop operations and quality standards Optional field service work across WA sites What We’re Looking For Proven motor overhaul experience – essential Transformer overhaul experience – highly regarded Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability Experience working on LV/HV equipment (mining or industrial ideal) Ability to read drawings and follow procedures Team-focused with strong workshop attitude What’s on Offer Permanent full-time role 7:00am – 4:00pm (Mon–Thurs) | 7:00am – 1:00pm (Friday) $45 to $60 Penalties 40-hour week overtime (when needed) Workshop or field work options (your choice) Bonus structures breakdown rates site uplift Fuel / vehicle allowances once established Long-term career progression in a specialist HV business Workshop based in Bassendean (moving to Forrestfield soon) Work Culture You’ll be joining a highly technical, engineering-led business with in-house capability across design, testing, overhaul, and commissioning—all under one roof.
