The Opportunity A leading provider of specialised industrial and energy services is seeking a Workshop Operations & Quality Supervisor to join their team based in Toowoomba. This is a critical leadership role overseeing workshop operations, fabrication and refurbishment activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with operational and engineering stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving productivity, maintaining compliance and leading a high-performing workshop team. The Role Reporting to the Business Unit Leader, your responsibilities will include: Supervising day-to-day fabrication, refurbishment and maintenance activities Managing workshop scheduling, workflow and resource allocation Leading and mentoring workshop personnel across trades and support staff Driving quality assurance, welding compliance and inspection processes Overseeing ITPs, welding procedures, inspection records and certification Coordinating smaller refurbishment / modification projects through to completion Liaising with engineering, procurement and operations teams to maintain delivery schedules Promoting a strong safety, quality and compliance culture across the workshop About You To be successful, you will bring: Trade qualification in Boilermaking, Fabrication, Welding or Mechanical discipline Proven experience supervising workshop / fabrication operations Strong understanding of welding procedures, WPS, ITPs and QA/QC processes Demonstrated leadership experience managing workshop / trades teams Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management capability Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality Why Apply?
