These are hands-on, outdoor roles contributing to the construction and maintenance of essential infrastructure including roads, drainage, and civil assets across our region. The Roles Labourers Key Responsibilities: Undertake general labouring activities across civil construction and maintenance works Assist with roadworks, drainage, concreting, landscaping and pipelaying Operate hand tools and small plant safely and efficiently Support traffic control at worksites Follow work instructions and safety procedures Contribute to a safe and productive team environment Essential Requirements: Current Class C Driver’s Licence Construction Induction Card (White Card) Demonstrated labouring experience and manual handling knowledge Ability to work effectively in a team Sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills Understanding of Work Health and Safety obligations Ability to participate in after-hours/on-call work Desirable: Experience in civil construction or road maintenance Concreting, pipelaying or drainage experience Traffic control tickets Plant operation experience Manual Drivers Licence Truck Drivers Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy rigid trucks and associated plant safely and efficiently Undertake labouring duties associated with infrastructure works Maintain transport and stormwater assets Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment Assist with roadworks, drainage, concreting, landscaping and pipelaying Participate in traffic control and on-call rosters Ensure compliance with WHS and Council policies Essential Requirements: Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence, MR licence may be considered (progressing to HR) Construction Induction Card (White Card) Demonstrated experience operating trucks (>8 tonne, multi-axle preferred) Ability to perform labouring tasks Knowledge of WHS requirements Sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills Ability to work after hours/on call as required Desirable: Experience in civil construction or infrastructure maintenance Plant and equipment operation experience Basic mechanical knowledge Concreting, drainage or pipelaying experience Manual Drivers Licence Why Join PMHC?
