The Markets Distribution team supports the growth of products and services offered by ASX to financial markets participants in Australia and internationally. The purpose of this role is to drive customer activity and revenue growth across the markets product and service suite predominantly through the retail and asset owner customer segments whilst supporting the broader distribution teams objectives with bank, proprietary trading, hedge fund and clearing customer segments. A core part of the role will be to assist in the delivery of customer programs for ASX investment product issuers and the ASX equity business that aim to increase the adoption of ASX listed managed investments (e.g. ETFs) and shares by retail investors and financial advisers. What you’ll do: Support in the execution of sales, marketing and education activity through the retail investor, broker, financial adviser and asset owner channels. Support the team in maintaining key account relationships with product issuers, brokers, asset owners and other financial markets participants managing all customer engagement and sales pipeline activity in Salesforce. Deliver specific product education to financial advisers, brokers and retail investors in conjunction with ASX partners (products issuers, brokers, index providers). This includes organising and executing initiatives such as investment education seminars, podcasts and videos. Represent ASX at industry events, conferences and professional development days. Develop relationships with our clients to understand their evolving needs. What you’ve done: Approx. 1-2 years’ experience in the financial markets or wealth management industry with knowledge of shares and exchange traded funds, their use, features, benefits and risks. Experience dealing with or working for brokers, fund managers, financial advisers and investment platforms. Experience with CRM’s, analysing data using excel (pivot tables, filters, formulas) and creating reports to inform business decisions. Appropriate tertiary qualification or similar relevant to the role or experience. And if you’ve got some of this, even better: Experience in the ASX broker network.
