The Role: We are seeking a commercially driven Product Sales Specialist – AV to take ownership of an assigned AV portfolio and manage national strategic accounts. This role is focused on driving growth, strengthening supplier and customer relationships, and supporting national sales initiatives across the business. There are currently two opportunities available, each aligned to a different AV product portfolio. The Company Our client is a well-established, Australian family-owned specialist IT distributor providing partners with both knowledge and growth opportunities. They are recognised for supporting local businesses of all sizes and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs. With a turnover exceeding $140m, they operate showrooms and distribution centres across major cities in Australia. Key Responsibilities: Meet periodic sales budgets and growth targets for specified AV portfolio Meet specified supplier targets and market share milestones Act as key channel product specialist for specified AV portfolio Be the key sales liaison between AV suppliers and the national Sales team Execute and manage strategic account plans to grow national strategic managed accounts Support the Sales team with AV product knowledge, demonstrations, and deal closure Contribute to AV product, sales and marketing strategies Deliver product training and demonstrations to internal teams and external clients Manage stock planning, pricing and margin strategy, and competitive positioning Build and maintain strong national customer relationships through regular visits You will have: Core understanding of AV products and the broader AV market Ability to meet sales targets and set goals in a B2B environment Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills High-level presentation and product demonstration capabilities Commercial acumen with strong MS Excel skills Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities Experience working in distribution or channel sales highly regarded A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Willingness to travel nationally as required Culture You will be joining a business that values collaboration, innovation, and long-term partnerships.
